» Songza Firefox Search Plugin
Following on from my Urban Dirty search engine plugin - I have created a search bar to find music on Songza: ‘the music search engine and internet jukebox’ using the Firefox browser or Internet Explorer 7.
What does it do?
It allows you to search for music on Songza, create playlists and share with friends directly from browser. After entering a search it will take you straight to the results page on songza.com (for example a search for ‘radiohead’ will take you here: http://songza.com/?q=radiohead). This plugin will also provide search suggestions as you type.
You can install it by using the link below. After installation you will see the Songza search as an option in your search bar:

Works on Netscape 9 as well….kind of a no-brainer since Netscape is Mozilla based like Firefox. A nice addition if you’re bored with your browser

And it knows many of my east german rock songs (and some of the hungarian ones too) which I couldn’t find anywhere. I’m impressed.

Are you going to make a Last.FM/Songza extension?
Have Songza read your or your friends’ Last.FM tracklist and from there you listen to such music through Songza?
I rarely listen to my local music anymore and such extension would further enhance my web playlist!
